Ball Pythons, Sand Boas, and Borneos
                    captive bred in Madison, WI.

M.N. Constrictors is the product of natural evolution. I grew up fascinated with the garter snakes, fox snakes and red-bellies I found in the near by marsh, and of course the monsters of Africa, South America, and Australia that I had seen on television. The first time I saw a clutch of ball python hatchlings at a pet store in the early 90's I knew I would have to have one someday. Once I had one, I soon wanted another. And as long as I was going to have a couple, a couple more won't take up any more room if I use a rack system...and as long as I'm going to have several, I may as well breed them! I think you can see where this is going...

I expect 2008 to be an exciting year for M.N. Constrictors! This is to be a year of building for me. I am considering Jan. 2008 my starting date, as I have just acquired my first Vision rack system, and moved the first of my collection into it. All are feeding and seem comfortable in their new homes. The remaining spaces in the rack are all planned for and should hopefully be inhabited by the end of the year...leading to more racks, and more snakes, and so on, and so forth... I don't want to count my ball pythons before they hatch, but my plans include pastels and normals in 2009, and hopefully albinos and pie balds as soon as 2010. There are many other extraordinary morphs I can't wait to work with as well, but I don't plan to work with python regius exclusively. I personally think the Borneo python (also referred to as the Borneo Short-Tailed python) is a fantastic looking snake that fits in a similar size catergory as the ball python, making it an excellent choice for someone looking for something a little different. I also plan to produce Kenyan sand boas, of which axanthics and albinos are a personal favorite. And if I had to try and see into the future beyond all this... mabey Chondros and rosy boas! This is a hobby that always has something new to offer, so it's hard to say what the next big thing will be! Watch for updates as my collection grows, notes from my field-herping trips, and available snakes in the summer 2009...
